Re: Going Honda
Ordered my Delron bushings for the front, the red ones crapped themselves on Joes Friggen rough road . Got the Bosch fuel pump in, have a fuel reusable fuel filter combing soon, motor mount plates are done, soon as my bushings come in will make the frame to motor mount posts. Then on to fanning up the radiator mounts, looked online, got ideas what pressure radiator cap, 7lb ish?

Re: Going Honda
Higher pressure on the cap that will increase the boil point on the coolant. Thinking mine is 18-21ish I can look.

Re: Going Honda
044s are roller cell pumps. they scream like hell when they cavitate,
From the factory they usually had feeder pumps and sumps to prevent that...
In tank works too, but they literally don't suck well.
Unless you need to run 90psi fuel, I suggest a Bosch or Walbro turbine or screw pump.
They are virtually silent, and do not need a feeder pump.
Walbro also has E85 rated pumps in stupid flow flavors.(screw pumps)

Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

Trying to figure out where to put the winch, the new bushings are installed up front, still can’t believe the others lasted just one run. Engine mounts done and getting ready to fab the Radiator and muffler, as always any pics I can copy please post em up. Oh and some more boxes showed up.

Leather, on your winch... ever thought about mounting it overhead or at least add a pully arrangement to help you get out. As we get older things like that do start to count .

Re: Going Honda
Getting the exhaust worked on, not happy with the right side, the header angles in vice straight down like the left side so I have to angle out around the motor mount, sticks out to far for my liking. I guess I could go out of the header down then to the right, then angle back. What say you guys?

Re: Going Honda
So guess I’m going to cut the right side out and redo it, needs less sticking out.
