Me either. It just may limit my boost. I really don't know.

Yes. But "need" is the key word! I agree, however, I'm not going for Max power. Just great power and driveability. I will say, if it will take big boost, then why not though?!?!

You're splitting hairs on that compression. Just run it.

Maybe! I'm teetering on the edge there with that much compression. I can add some deck too if I wanted. Or....

What compression ratio do you think he should aim for? Asking cause I’m air cooled ignorant.

He runs e-85 so it can be higher, I shoot for 8-8.5 to 1  the reason mine lifted was bad oil seal in turbo

Yeah I was thinking somewhere around 8.7:1 but I know it doesn't always work out that way.
Waste gate is 12 psi so I will run it on that for a while. My parts will be here tomorrow so I should get it pretty well done by the end of the weekend.

Well I put my crank together yesterday. Then saw I had the bearing on upside down :( so I brought it in to work today to press it back off. NOW I have it together right. Of course I don't have the right shims to get the deck height right so now I'm waiting for parts again. Trying to figure out how I can get them quick because I just found out I have Thursday and Friday off and that would be a great time to get this thing wrapped up.

Yeah. I will call Orlando and see if they have them too. Sucks to make a 3 hour drive for it, but at least I would have them.

Any updates? I was hoping for some freedom and a first run report in the 2L.

Unfortunately no. Waiting for spacers. I was really hoping to get them here in the next couple days because I'm off work Thursday and Friday, but I haven't gotten an email that they shipped yet. I cut and built the push rods yesterday. Sometime this weekend I will seal up the case too, but until I get the spacers I'm stuck there. I may set the short block in the car too so I can go get some lines made for my full flow. May as well get that mocked up while I'm waiting.
