Beats me. They all said the $1500 trans would only be good for about 150hp. But they may be figuring burnouts etc..?

So, got bored...

Took the turbo and intercooler off yesterday and finished it today.

I have to get the car inspected and a turbo is a no-go for oldtimer inspection.

Have to adjust my headlights and than take it to the station when life goes back to normal.

Took it around the block. It runs quite rich but drives nice, not as much fun as with the turbo.
When you're used to get a kick up your a** at 2500-ish rpm.... well you get it.....

Hi all.

Not much happend. Started working again after 10weeks at home due to corona. Worked all of june tough.

Had to make an appointment for the buggy to get inspected next monday.

Please pray for no rain and a clean pass at the station.

After that the turbo will go back on and the car will get a 2nd tuning session on the dyno but more importantly a street tune to make it a little snappier and leaner. That´s planned for mid august.

Greetz!

Did some driving this week, man have i missed that turbo!

Removed the throttle cable and greased it up.

Then i found this behind my loud-pedal:

I replaced and greased that also.

Gave the balljoint at the throttlebody and the shaft a drop of oil also.

You can't imagine how much smoother and lighter it is now.

Took a drive today and found myself on a spotter carpage on facebook ImageImage

Enjoy the weekend!

Hi,

Lost the gearbox again today.

Only did 2 boosted pulls and could'nt get into 1st and 2nd and barely into 3rd...

Think the buggy season is over for me. Can't risk having it failing again and breaking down on the road and needing it towed...

Better start saving, i want a box that can handle 300 to 350max hp. (I'm at 200 now at 10psi...)

(Did bought a bugtech shifter last week. Can't wait to fit it)

Owch! That's going to hurt your wallet. Everyone around here told me to hold past 150hp it would cost me $4000.
