For me that was my least favorite part. I bet I still have 30,000 tiny holes in my fingers. It was also my first time working with it.

,,I just over do everything. Realize I'm pulling two an8,,and one an10 full length lines,,two Mallory 140 pumps.Chip Birks wrote: ↑Sun Jul 14, 2019 8:41 pmCan't drag race at an NHRA track with that stuff though. Rules state less than 1 foot of rubber in the fuel system.
For a simple pump,an6 lines,,and more horsepower,,crazy.
Clonebug $100 total,, whole system,,,all funky fittings included.
That's cheap and NHRA approved.

$100?! You did way better than me! I'm sure I had over $100 in just the Hose.

Howdy all,,apparantly I'm better today than I was 12 years ago when I first built this pile,,poop.
I relocated my fuel pump,,new mount, easier access for maintenance. Only concern,,I have 4" of clearance above tie rod. Only will be an issue on HEAVY compression after a wheelie.

Today was clutch break away test day.
Things have progressed to the point of actually putting the motor in the buggy.
A couple different "shim" sizes,,I'm right around where I need to be 160 to 175lb.

Mine slipped at 175 lbs...
You might want to bump that up to 250 ft lbs.

Re: Here's mine.
Your puck will get meaner as it gets hot, unlike an organic disc. I wouldn't be tooooo worried about the number when cold.
