Anyone good with this?
I'm trying to figure out what the best turbo will be for my next engine.
It will be a:
2276
Capable of 7500 rpms
E85
80 degrees F ambient temp
Up to 30 psi

I don't understand what you find difficult? Sure, not all parameters are scientifically known for our platform, but most general data will do as well.
More easily, 7,5K suggests exceptionally good heads and a big cam (and big goals), so you will 95% certain end up with my combo: EFR7670, I use the twin scroll 1,05 A/R iirc and external WG. It supports 650hp and you will/can probably make an easy 550hp with it, unless you break something in the type 1 case before that.
If you want true 600+ you would need to step up to the bigger cartridge, but the 7670 is extremely versatel and spools in TS as good on a 2,3ltr as needed imho.

What was getting me was it shows plots on a map, but none looked ideal to me. Also really have no clue how much boost i would want to run, or how much the turbo would want to give.
At 20 psi max, the 7670 doesn't look too bad. Maybe just a hair on the large side, but the 7163 seems it might be too small.. So...

Re: Borg Warner matchbot
You surely know by now how it all works with 5000+ posts right?
But seriously, as most always ask (for a good reason): how much hp do you want to make?
And how 'good' is your engine? In other words: how much hp you think it will make N/A?
With those answers, any hp-boost question can be determined.

Mine are probably 4500 post of updates on whatever weird stuff I'm doing. I just plod along doing what i do.
As for what hp i want to make, unfortunately i really don't know. Of course i want 2000 hp and want to do it for $500....like everyone else. I guess 450 hp seems like a doable, realistic number?! I'm really not chasing anything specific. I just like building stuff.
Also my car has no business making the hp it already does, so i have some work to do there.

Re: Borg Warner matchbot
You know after spending more time on Matchbot, i think it's the wildly different power delivery of a higher rpm engine that is messing me up. Right now i make peak tq at 4500 rpm, and peak hp at 5300. I also start making boost at 1700 rpm. Maybe once i wrap my head around not making boost until 3000-4000 rpm the maps will make more sense. I keep trying to get all the rpm dots (2000-7000) to fit in the map.
