These are pretty tough times for many because of the coronavirus. No matter where you are, it's likely that many small, local businesses will have a tough time making it. Some may go out of business. Even though a business might be closed, they still have to pay the rent, some heat and cooling, security, inventory maintenance, insurance and others. For many small businesses, cash flow kinda has to keep flowing. They don't have big cushions.
For those who can, buying a gift certificate will put cash in the merchant's hand today. And, when he pays it back down the road, he pays the value at his cost of those goods or services rather than face value. A good deal for the merchant. Pretty decent karma for you. If this idea could be spread around a little, it might make a difference. Help your local community as you can, please.
