1.9 wbx to oxy questions

Post by Mabbo »

hello. I have a 1.9 wbx with a blown head gasket sitting in the workshop that im considering converting to oxy. Dont want to go crazy. Maybe an 82 or 84mm type1 crank and 94mm t1 barrels and pistons unless i could use anything bigger easily available? What heads would be best to use on a mild setup? Want something easy to build for now.

To install a all bug brg. crank you need a late (B) 2.1 block for the easy install use 3 2.1 brgs with a bug flywheel line bore brg. .040 with .040 thrust. What about moving your head studs for the 94mm P&Cs. I have helped about fifty guys do this conversion. Thanks Rocky Jennings
