Has anyone installed a set of Kadrons with the engine in the car. I have done it before with the engine out(quite some time ago). Is there room to install everyting everything while the engine is still in the car.I don't have the facilities to take my engine out and work on it right now. Anyone try out those new gene-berg linkages?

FWIW, you *cannot* install dual carbs before installing the motor in the car because the engine would become too wide to fit up through the engine opening in the body of the car.
Regarding running the GBE linkage with Kadrons... pick up the November issue of VW Trends to see this very procedure.

You pretty well much have to leave the engine in to put on those Kads.So,the answer is yes you can put them on w/engine in car. the berg linkage is GREAT and leaves the stock kad linkage lookin` like its really crappy.Spark plug changes get a little more difficult but not impossible if you have a elbowed or pivoting socket adapter with an X-tension.
