Hot, humid air is less dense than cooler, drier air. This can allow a golf ball to fly through the air with greater ease, as there won't be as much resistance on the ball.

My boyfriend's dad is getting in on helping which is pretty rad. He took a look at the e-brake situation, declared that no matter what the lengths are, the ones that are in right now are definitely too short. He also said nothing in the hand-brake mechanisms appear to be broken. He took the cables that had previously been in, that look whole and unstretched, but were certainly too long, and said he'd do some research. [[shrug]]
I tried my hand at putting the muffler on today, but I just can't deal with the stupid maneuvering required to get it bolted up to the intake manifold (the inner bolts). Seriously, how is it done?! I suppose another set of hands holding tools might help, but I just can't figure out how one could possibly get those bolts in.
At least the carpets are all clean and nicely glued in place again =\

Boyfriend's dad is super awesome...I has new e-brake cables! I owe him bigtime. I have plans to install those and the muffler this weekend...
Someone is finally coming to take a look at the car tomorrow morning! I am nervous! Poor Franz is less than presentable, the paintjob is not too hot right now, but at least the carpeting is all clean and in place! Hopefully they will fall in love with the car. If the guy is willing to pay a little more, we'll keep our plans for the cables and the muffler, otherwise he will get them unattached!

New Franz Owner: I've had an accident!
STF-Star: Whoa, is Franz ok?
New Franz Owner: I…I don't know, but I can't feel my legs.
STF-Star: You may have bent your frame head. Can you see any damage on Franz?
New Franz Owner: What? I am bleeding!
STF-Star: Better not be on the seat covers, those things are sweet!
New Franz Owner: What's your deal? I'm covered in broken glass.
STF-Star: That's ok, the windshield was cracked anyway.
New Franz Owner: I can't believe you!
STF-Star: Listen buddy, you smashed up Franz and I'm supposed to be happy?
New Franz Owner: NLW warned me about you, but I though she was joking. <<Click>>
STF-Star: Hello? Hello! Oh geez, I hope Franz is ok!

Shhhhh...
Franz is no dummy. He knows what you are trying to do and he doesn't like it. They all do this when they find out you want to get rid of them.

^Haha yeah I guess so. I can't really afford a new starter so I'm waiting for the guy to call me back to see if he's seriously interested (in which case I will see what I can do about the starter) or not (then I'll wait for the $).

smack it with a big hammer......
battery connectors might need to be cleaned/tightened, check the ground to chassis connection....its probably good as it was good the last time you used it, i doubt it went bad just sitting there.......
