CB CNC Oval Port 044s

Post by Chip Birks »

I have here a lightly used set of CB Performance 42x37 CNC ported Ultra Mag Plus 044s. They have about 2000 miles on them. I tore the motor down in order to make some major internal changes. These heads no longer fit in with my goals. They are already cut for 94 bore, and have never been flycut. I have done some light port work done to the chambers in order to clear a set of custom pistons I am running. Very little material was taken out in this process. The heads were run on a driver, not a race car. Rarely taken over 6500rpm. Valves and springs are just the way they came from CB. These are nice heads, bolt them on and go! Buyer pays shipping costs.
Here are the heads listed on CB's site.

Asking $550

I want them but I can't afford them, to many unexpected costs just recently.

Do you have any photos? How hot did they get? and where are you located?

I don't have photos right now, but can get some up on here late tonight. They never got hot, never drove the car more than 50 or 60 miles without stopping. Car ran exclusively on E85. I'm in Utah.

Here are a couple photos...

The next one shows the combustion chambers and the very mild port work done in them.
