You need to do it the right way and take your crank to a machine shop that has a bearing separator and a press (if you we're only closer I could do it for you)... It would sure suck to screw something up trying to pull it off at home

Mapp should get'r'done. Like Steve said, don't heat it for too long, then quick with the puller and zap it with an impact (lube those threads, or else though
)

Had a big binge and fitted both my remote oil cooler, filter and chargecooler to my bug. There's an awfull lot of plumbing going on above my gearbox...

Re: What did you do to your turbo today?
I finally got to drive mine again! New O2 sensor showed up in the morning, got it installed in the afternoon and drove it to work that night! Took it pretty easy as I'm just building the 91 octane tune for it now. Saw 11psi, feels pretty good
Its definitely slower to come into boost while driving in higher gears than it was with the smaller cam/turbo combo. But it hits hard when it does come.

more boost, LOL
not sure if im the right.person to ask since i tend to go against the turbo grain with short 24 tall tire and short 4.11 first.
two step helps if your not using it, retarding timing on two step helps more, clutch slip, data logging, and especially an o2 sensor to see if car is a pig off the line. suspension and
shock settimgs.
not sure if that was a serious question or not but theres some

Re: What did you do to your turbo today?
Very serious! I'm going to try some 24" slicks as my tall gearing ain't helping things with my HP and weight. I will also work on data logging and launch controll.

The exhaust housing is the biggest, er smallest, thing holding my engine backMarty wrote:Muffler Mike wrote: and the biggest thing that woke my stuff up was a smalller exhaust housing.
