You do want a throttle plate stop on that right TB, I luckily had an extra gsxr throttle stop screw then just found the correct tap (it's a oddball pitch, IIRC 5mm 1.0, I could be wrong), turned out really nice. The screws sometimes pop up on ebay, or you can find a completely stripped down TB for $1 like I did

Go cable linkage, it is superior in every way to regular linkage. I found all my bits from this place, you might have a similar company on your side of the pond http://www.greenskyadventures.com/throt ... ized09.htm

One last thing, if you soak those TB's in carb dip they will look good as new. Keep us updated on your progress Andy.

Cheers bud, your blog has been a bit of a manual for me! thanks for sharing!!
is the full throttle stop just so it doesnt go past full throttle and jam open yh? i'm sure i can make something up pretty easy like you say :)

will clean them up and post back ;)

That's why I made that blog

You shouldn't need a WOT stop, there is one on the backside of the left TB. Idle stop is really nice to have, it keeps the sync locked in.

Again I have to agree with supaninja :) I basically run the same setup with cable linkage and GSXR ITBs, but no idle stop on one side, and it makes syncing an issue. I will be fixing this over the winter.

Ahhhh yh I'm with you!
Be good to see what devastator comes up with too!

This grooved lug should drill and tap nicely for a second idle stop :)

The mounting came to me in bed just now....
Make a base plate for the head, nice and thick to transition from oval port to tube. Fix a tube to that, then using the k6 inlet rubber flanges, make an ally base plate for them and weld that to the top of the tube then bolt on the flanges and fix the itb's as Suzuki did?
Does that make sense? I can knock up a picture maybe.

I plan to Alu solder it together with "durafix" as I don't own anything to weld Alu, nor want to pay for it lol plus the durafix stuff is cheap...

Sorry I've been outta the loop for the last few weeks. With the holidays, fighting off a cold, and my DD breaking down, I've not had much time to make anything. But, I'm back on task now.
I am working on a pulley for the "left" side linkage, as Supa mentioned. I need to machine one and try it out. The adapter plates for the TB's to the intakes are programmed and ready to be made. I'm still working on the top plate. I am incorporating a throttle stop in my design as well.

I am going to try and make things as easy for you guys as possible. Let my CNC's do all the work. There will be a set screw that locks the second pulley to the TB. There might also be a retaining clamp of some sort, but I need to make one first to see how it goes on. No drilling and tapping needed.

If you can picture the pulley model I posted on a different thread, on the left TB, with the slot engaging the tang on the TB, then I think you'll see where I'm gong with this.

Here's where I posted the pulley solid model.:

Yep, I'm with you, then there's no need to drill and tap the shaft right?!
Could pop a little jb weld ect on the tang to secure, or bend it over holding it on but that would tricky to do neatly....

You wouldn't need to drill and tap anything. JB weld might be an option, but I'm trying to avoid that. Bending the tab would be challenging, so I'm trying to avoid that too.

Thanks. I hope to make a pulley tomorrow and test fit it. Pretty sure I'll have to add small screw and clamp to it, but need one in hand to confirm.
