Subarugears just launched Subatronics at http://www.subatronics.com
We are manufacturing a CANbus emulator that allows Subaru CANbus engines (generally MY07 onwards) to operate outside of the Subaru environment (i.e. in VW's) using the standard Subaru ECU. This way all the factory maps and failsafes of the Subaru system are preserved (no more expensive dyno tuning time).
Late model Subarus use dual AVCS (adjustable cam timing) and the latest BRZ engines also use direct injection.
Some of the engines that this will operate on are :
EJ25T (280hp)
EJ20 (130hp)
EJ25 (165hp)
EZ30R (250hp)
EZ36R (260hp)
EE20T (350nm diesel)
FB20 (150hp)
FB25 (170hp)
FA20T (300hp)
FA20 (150hp)
The Subatronics CANbus emulator mimics the signals usually produced by the various sub components needed to keep the engine ECU happy, such as ABS, steering wheel angle etc and ensures no error codes and no check engine light from these systems, whil still allowing error codes and check engine light from preserved systems.
It is fitted with a 4 line LCD display showing engine parameter readouts for your information, as well as the ability to show and clear error codes to aid in initial setup of your drivetrain.
