Which is better?

Offroad VW based vehicles have problems/insights all their own. Not to mention the knowledge gained in VW durability.

Press or drive in Link pins? Or start driving then press?

Press in the bushings. Then hone the bushing to accept the link pin.

Will do, ordered a 7/8 reamer. Finally I get to ream something other then getting it.

Yup just go easy with it. Pay attention to the oil passages in the bushings as you press them into the King Pin.

I ream from both sides progressively too, since the reamer is tapered.
