Both good points, I'll dig out the timing light and confirm what I have. I thought I had all of the ignition side sorted on the old engine!

try and run a trigger log, then also check your sensor gap and that your sensor isn't covered in shavings and metal (these were my issue)

It runs!

I got a trigger log, messy as hell.

Changed the starter motor, cranks far better now.

Replaced the crank pickup and setup the position/gap.

Refitted the plugs. Fires up after just a couple of turns.

82psi at 2000rpm though, steadily dropping to 60psi odd as it got some heat in.
Worrying me that is.

Its stinking rich, so need to check over the fuel system.

All good stuff to look at tomorrow.

Thanks for your help!

I was using the millers competition racing oil from them in 10/60 when I had the 26mm pump, going to see what it’s like now I have a 30mm one with some thinner oil but same brand.
Millers have that and a nano drive one or something which has even more zinc in it.... the people at opie are pretty helpful on that :)
Oil thickness will adjust the pressure for you :)
