I found some 14" wheels and mounted my worn out Bus tires on them ,, 8 plys

I really want a beetle bolt pattern hub. I have five 14” vw wagon style wheels. All the old drag racers have vw wheels on their trailers. We need a trailer thread. Lol

I Had a trailer back in the 70' that was made from a cpl link pin spindles ,, worked for a while but one Huge pothole shared it off :cry: young & dumb me took off the plate and the City impounded it :roll:

slow progress, installed the 16 cylinder studs ,hand clearanced the cylinder spicket in a cpl. spots,, then the o'l arteritis kicked in on my hands :roll:

Thanks John, :lol: ,,Well final assembly is done in the garage , so i fired up the wood furness at 7am and frakin 18* & snowing ,, schools are closed :lol: but after waiting a cpl hours for the place to warm up,,,got the cases glued together ,all torqued ,crank turns like butter with just two fingers :D 8) slapped on a piston and cyl. : now to go shopping for some spacers & head gaskets :lol: road trip ,, gets me off the farm for a day :lol: helps with 'cabin fever'

yea, 5.5 rods , got them with the crank ,no problem ,I'll just shim it :lol:

Hey Chip,,My bug more than likely :wink: ,,FYI tail lights almost installed 8) ,I have to re=wire , gonna use a trailer tail lite harness :lol:
