I have been making some progress, finished up EFI wiring and started on fuel system. I received a few packages in the mail and fuel level sensor is installed and working on fuel pump install.

Thanks Art, hoping to get new electrical connector for fuel pump and very expensive fuel line for in tank on Monday.

Yeah those fittings are not cheap!
Be aware that black hose will melt. Be sure it's not near the header.

Fuel pump submersible hose is installed, hope I don't have to buy more of that, cost $20 a foot with company discount. Hopefully make more progress this weekend.

Decided that 2" between turbine housing and intake was too close, so made a heat shield and almost done with exhaust.
Madmike, thinks have gotten pretty silly on the Dramba. Think I will just leave that trailerpark alone .

Looks good. I'm interested to hear how that little muffler works. I hate firing my car up at 5:30am for work in my quiet neighborhood.

I will let you know, originally had a 10" glasspack but no room for it so got a Total Flow muffler, hope it isn't too loud.

It’s not that loud I have nothing on mine and it’s down right humane compared to a lot of cars around me.woodsbuggy1 wrote:I will let you know, originally had a 10" glasspack but no room for it so got a Total Flow muffler, hope it isn't too loud.

Re: 1776 Microsquirt Street Turbo Build
I pulled my fuel rails to change fittings for braided hose and found that my injectors are corroded and had very fine crystalized dirt in them.
I guess sitting for 3 years with E85 didn't do them any good, they were used injectors from a V8 guy that had been modified for more flow. I cleaned them up and found flow rating marked on each one, they varied from 36lbs per hour to 52lbs per hour, suprised that motor ran so well for 5 years. It was a good excuse to order some 60lbs per hour Deka injectors. Now planning fuel lines while waiting on new injectors. Every build has it's own challanges, in a buggy you have lots of room but limited mounting areas due to lack of firewall and bodywork, will probably be making a bracket that mounts to transaxle to attach FPR and fuel filter.
