Re: Lowbugget Fitech Install
I'll have to take some measurements a little later for ya. I basically cut up an old bed frame for the steel, used a long bolt for one of the throttle body studs, the plastic bushings surrounding the "boomerang" are from a TV wall mount hardware kit, the spherical joints are off an old baby weber hexbar linkage and a barrel nut to hold the stock throttle cable to the bell crank linkage. To build it I basically used cardboard and my calibrated eye then transfered everything over to steel[email protected] wrote:dude love your throttle cable setup ! is there any way you can get me the dimensions and the parts you used?! thst be amazing my friend

Re: Lowbugget Fitech Install
To be honest time is very scarce at this point in time and the fitech setup and stroker is out of my bug cause I broke in a 1600 for my aunt's dune buggy. One thing I do know is the base tune(cam selection/fuel map) should be ironed out before you mess with the accel settings. Fitech has a couple tech Tuesday videos on YouTube that are helpful. I'm not sure what fuel pump setup your using(mine is in line) but I had to adjust the fuel pump pmw(aj set it to 20 I believe but it was making the system freak out) fitech told me to adjust it up to 60-70 but that made the pump cavitate so I adjusted it down to like 29 or 30 basically until I didn't hear the cavitation anymore (that could be due to the stock outlet going to a -6 gauge tee and using that for my feed and return) I think a cb performance tee would work much better to be honest but I used what was in the kit. I have a few videos on YouTube about the install that might give you a good visual on what I'm talking about.
Glad the measurements worked out for ya I like it much better than the added cable setup I made before

Hi, cracking thread you have here. I’ve sent you a private msg but not sure if you have received it. Just wanted to ask a question about your tune.
