why is it I post a great Solution on slamba and it's ignored , subject cleaning an engine bay,
Only thing that works without scrubbing ur ass off is 'S 100' sold at H.D motorcycle shops ,
see, thing is, them boys don't want to spend hours cleaning them bikes they want to Ride!!!!
lol. Right there with you. Started using S100 over 25 years ago to clean my bikes. Not HDs with lots of chrome, but cafe bikes with plenty of plastic body panels and nooks and crannies you couldn't get to with your hands or a brush. Still use it on my Beetle from time to time when I want to deep clean the engine bay -- but honestly don't let it get that dirty too often.

Just looked it up on Amazon. Next time I need to give the car a bettery cleaning than simple green (been using that stuff for years) S100 will be on its way!
I was a Biker long before my VW's picked this yellow Buell Blast 500cc. up from a neighbor, a month later a Buell Firebolt 1000cc ,the blast is for sale

My father-in-law (back when he was just a co-worker) had a Firebolt and man did I want it. He put it up for sale and I didn't have the money so another co-worker bought it. After a few months the fuel tank developed a leak and the guy decided to seal it with tank sealer. He didn't let it cure properly, and the stuff plugged up the carb and it got into the internals. Completely destroyed that thing. Man I was pissed!
I wish mine had a carb it's Fuel Injected, now I need the learn this stuff,I was avoiding all these years, It's in the living room for the winter, I'm low on firewood this year,so no heating the garage,,
