Did the valves yesterday. Came out great.

Also, the 10mm studs are in the case.

Slowly getting there.

Picked up the powersleeves and dropped them off to get fitted on the cilinders, then machined on the top and stresshoned to get them absolutly round on the inside.

My guy finished the heads, new oteva 90´s.

Pistons have new seals also

On the other side, I have a lot of side projects atm but this engine is priority n°1

Side project 1

Peugeot type 57 from 1955 with a 125cc.
Rebuilt engine, needs alot of electrical work but ir already runs.

Image

Side project 2

Peugeot 103 Vogue 50cc moped.

Bought it for my girlfriend, she used to have one when she was young. Needs some work.

206 zipties later, just a few little things to finish and she´s ready to rip again.

Will take outside pictures when she moves under her own power because my driveway is to steep to push her back in.

Started the engine for the first time since the rebuild, all went fine, my engine builder came to
my place to do it together.

Made some small adjustments to get it drive worthy to get to his shop, it´s a 45min drive this friday/saturday.

My 3port ebc was at 100 dutycylce value
My new 4 port ebc gave 5psi at 10 dutycylce value
We slowly upped that value untill we had 12 psi boost at 30 dutycycle value

Old injectors at 75% dutycycle at 12psi so when it´s on the dyno we install the 660cc and retune the whole map.

After that we will make a new map based on the current 14psi map (wich will be retuned as said above) and tune for 21psi or maybe more if wanted/ needed

Only problem we had is we blew the fuse when we wanted to see what the W/M kit would do. Set to go ON at 7psi

It´s wired in after the fuse for my 2 fans on the intercooler and that was a 10Amps fuse.

So that and the pump draw more than that 10A

We tought to start with a 25A fuse before the fans and a 20A fuse before the pump

Any toughts on that?

I have no specs on the pump. Fans do have a label but not visible when they´re mounted.
The 10A fuse never blew out in those 4years i have them running. So the pump must be the power eater.

Worth remembering the purpose of a fuse is to save the wiring, if there is a problem, not the devices.

So rate the fuse based on the capacity of the wiring and if that’s not enough you need to rewire anyway.

Wiring is standard 1.5mm that was provided with the pump, relay and solenoid

Going on the dyno in an hour or 4.

First checking the valves, getting a base reading on the dyno, thrn swapping the injectors and start adjusting the map to it.

Going for 1 map for 14psi street driving and 1 for 21+ psi racing.
