FS: 1970 VW Beetle - Project - Clean and Rust-Free - $5000

VW engine needs a rebuild or replacement. Last driven around 2001, but garage stored and under car cover for 20 years. No rust and was rebuilt in late 90's. My intentions were to install a Subaru engine and trans, but that is no longer in the picture. I bought and rebuilt EJ22 longblock, have a TY754 trans (never ordered Subarugears), and a Saab turbo for it - included in sale.

all drums
no back seat

color is Viper red

Also includes - complete Subaru EJ22 engine (block, intake/exhaust manifolds, etc...), Subaru TY trans, a multitude of VW parts not shown including Weber 34 ICH carbs and several keys.
