That's some wild looking stuff going on man, love it!

Seems like a lot of strain on exhaust studs.
They're known to pull out on stock exhausts.
Maybe support the whole thing using a turnbuckle from the rear drip rails?

I have failed to update this thread. The engine is up and running but we are sorting out some EFI issues.
I did fabricate a header support because I was worried about the overly delicate exhaust studs on the Type 4 engine. Hopefully we can make some tuning headway this weekend and I'll have additional pics and video to post.

I take it you fabbed the J-tubes. Are they oval port and did you make the flanges to head?
How please?
I've never seen a turbo type 4 up close, as not been yet to USA.
Maybe in Europe, one day...
