Where does the D- go on a rebuilt generator? Not compatible?

Where does the D- go on a rebuilt generator? Not compatible?

D- is ground brush on the rebuilt. DF is end copper winding end, and D+ is copper winding beginning on the rebuilt one. Generator not spinning for polarizing either.
