Since I am increasing my supercharged engine to 2387, I am getting a custom cam ground for it.
The grinder wants to know how much lash change there is between cold and hot it will have to size the ramps to optimize the lobes.
CB Aluminum case, CB street eliminator heads, CB double tapered cm pushrods, 5.6 rods & B pistons, Pauter 1.4 rockers.
I am guessing at .008" lash growth.
Someone far more knowledgeable than me thought I should have a .012" ramp, but that is an educated guess.
Has anyone with similar components actually measured cold and hot lash?

2387 cold vs hot lash
The older I get, the faster I was.

Re: 2387 cold vs hot lash
Any time I've checked my lash hot or cold it has always been the same. I was expecting a noticeable difference, but nope. This is with Chromoly pushrods.
