This motor started as a carbed draw through set up. Tossing a TB where the carb was was the easiest progression into efi

Glad to hear it is going well! How hard are you hoping to push it? Gonna keep it on pump gas? Do you have e85 local?chriswillrise wrote: ↑Mon Jun 23, 2025 12:00 pm Well Ive been cruising! Slowly worked up to spring pressure at about 9 lbs. Put a couple hundred miles on it so far and everything seems to be holding up

This motor in my other car was peaking 18psi before so I’ll probably work back up to there.Chip Birks wrote: ↑Tue Jun 24, 2025 6:24 amGlad to hear it is going well! I do have e85 local and have been contemplating swapping all my soft fuel lines to be able to run e85. Might need a new fuel pump as well since mines only rated at 250hp on e85.
I’m currently on 91 with water/meth starting at 120kpa

New small issue, my 02 gauge is reading about 1.0 richer than what the ms2 is seeing. The ground for my gauge is grounded at the same location my relay board is grounded too. Which is the battery terminal. The calibration is set at what my gauge manual states so I’m not sure what to do, or which is correct.
It’s an older innovate mtx-L and it says to set 0v- 7.35 5v- 22.39 which is what I set the calibration too in tunerstudio

"It is essential to establish a dedicated ground connection back to the “sensor ground” pins on the ECU, ensuring a clean and reliable signal transmission. Never ground your sensors to the cylinder head, engine block, or battery."

If it has 2 grounds (1 power and 1 signal) they both need to go back to ground separately or else the heater in the O2 will mess up the reading.

I just went off this, so should I take the ground off and tie it in with a sensor ground spot on the relay board?Alexander_Monday wrote: ↑Sat Jun 28, 2025 12:29 pm If it has 2 grounds (1 power and 1 signal) they both need to go back to ground separately or else the heater in the O2 will mess up the reading.

My O2 has separate grounds for heater and signal so I had to look around. DIY says for LC2 and MS2 to run the ground to the same location the ECU ground is run to. Everything I have read before is to run the ECU ground to the engine block so that is where my MS3x ECU grounds are run to. If that is what you did, then run the O2 ground to the same spot on the block.

It’s just weird because that means my ms2 is seeing higher voltage than my gauge? It’s exactly 1.0 aft richer than my gauge consistentlyAlexander_Monday wrote: ↑Sat Jun 28, 2025 1:29 pm My O2 has separate grounds for heater and signal so I had to look around.
