Maybe, but a Toyota 20R works better in one of those, with an automatic trans behind it, running through an Old Willys or Dodge 4speed gearbox/transfer case and sending turns to a pair of Dana 27 or 44 axles....I built one like this, the gearing was a,azing, every manual gear had 4 speeds as the automatic shifted out....

Man, the possibilities of american metal.... I wish we could mate stuff up that easily (I know its not easy, but a lot more do-able). Just think, a T3orT4 auto mated to a 4 speed, it would be like riding a 21 speed bike, Kidding. Maybe make an evil rock crawling Thing, or a Baja squareback that can just crawl right with the best of 'em. Bad Idea.

This is a great selling point. I once got shammed into buying a "Reproduction" florida hunting buggy. Needless to say, there was no "dog boxes" option available. This is a real florida hunting buggy made go thru or over just about anything
Always remember to read the fine print.

Hey....I have built 3 of those...Mine had airplane tires with chunks of tractor tires bolted on them for tread....What is funny is when some dude in a hummer pays you 50 bucks to pull his 50K ride out of a real mud hole..
