This is a cool seat upgrade for the type 2, you can replace the bench seat with 3 914 seats. Starting at $75 each + shipping.

I saw it in a VW&Porsche magazine, someone built a crewcab with a flat bed & tandum wheels to haul their shorty drag bus, the crew cab had the 3 seats up front, one of the coolest set up I have ever seen. Both buses had wide Porsche alloys!!

Dang now I have to research how to do that

I think the person must have welded tracks in the floor to fit the seats somehow. I think the 914 slides right on a split chair tracks. I have seen a few in the walkthru spits with the 914 seats.
