scat stroker kit
i'm about 2-3 weeks from being able to order my parts for my engine, and i saw a scat stroker kit for about 1100 dollars (http://www.aircooled.net/new-bin/viewpr ... 0270469372). i've already got the heads, and carbs in my closet, and i'm getting my case machined this week.i don't know anything about the scat cam that comes in the kit.seems like a good deal;any opinions? thanx; steve

Do some homework before you fork cash over....it is very easy to spend good money on parts that are weaker than stock parts....for instance cast iron crankshafts and mismatched cam hardnesses are far from performance to me..
Buying the kit from aircooled.net is a good choice John knows what works and what doesn't..
See if he will substitute a web cam for the Scat cam, you'll be miles ahead right out of the box.
