HOW TO TELL WHAT YOU HAVE! DRIVETRAIN

I Have currently started building my first sandrail. I have a good mech. back gound. But there some questions I have not been able to find ansers.As far as VW buses how do what trsan you have,and if its any good. And is it true that bus front ends are beter for off road application I bleive it is "called kingpin" front,is that true. What would be the diff. IF ANY BODY HASMSOME GOOD ADVICE FOR A NEW'BEE thanks

Definitely go with ball joint front end. Save the link pin beams for old bus owners. The people over on the off-road forum might give you different advice though.:)
