Replacing All Door Handles - One Key Fits All?

Post by jhuber »

Hello,

I'm replacing all of the door handles on my newly acquired '74 camper (Front Doors, Sliding Door, Rear Cargo Hatch) and was wondering if there were any vendors that sell a complete set of these 4 items that are keyed alike. I've checked Rocky Mountain Motor Works, JBugs, GoWesty, JC Whitney, Real Source, and Bus Boys.

Anyone out there know of other resources that may have such a kit. I could always just buy them separately and have a locksmith re-key them for me, I suppose.

Thanks!

There is a guy on the samba who can do all your locks. look under the classifieds

I did it my self I got all the cylinders from a junked bus in the Yard. Its not hard just time consuming. And basically with old parts it all has to be taken apart and cleaned to work good...

Any compitent locksmith will be able to re-key all your lock to work with one key. I've done it a few times. Very convenient.
