That's harsh man.

A stock 1303 runs about 1900lbs (that's 870Kg to you). That gives you a power to weight ratio af 9.5:1 (or 9.5lbs of weight to each Horsepower).

Here are some other cars and their power to weight figures.

2000 BMW M = 12.10:1
2001 Audi TT = 11.80:1
2000 Porsche Boxster = 11.40:1
2000 Corvette convertible = 9.41:1
2003 Ford Mustang Cobra = 9.39:1
2000 Porsche Turbo = 8.19:1
2000 Dodge Viper = 7.51:1

I'd call some of them fast cars. :)

u say a new vette has got similar power/weight ratio. that doesnt mean that a 1303 is a good race against a vette, right? could you explain that?

also, whats the formula for finding power/weight?

I was going to put a NA 2276cc that probably would of made 200hp, but I put that on the back burner and decided that I will sell my '73 Super and buy this '63 because of looks, weight and and not as many suspension parts. The formula is weight/hp.

Hey Trackmagic, why don't you find out where he's from, first? If he's from the U.S. Canada, etc., then he should have his grammatical ass kicked. If he's from Germany, Sweden (where English is not their first language), then your comment was not called for.

There's a perfect example: General_Lee_Jr is from the south and he can't help how he talks and spells.

It's not right to make fun of Mr Lee just because English is not his native language.

We should all be a little more considerate of people like him. After all, do you interrupt people in the middle of a conversation to correct their pronunciation?

Most of the time I will stop someone in the middle of a conversation if they use incorrect grammar. From what I can tell, our 1303 friend here had no problems using a slang term when he said "and stuff" nor did he have a problem creating an easy to understand topic...

As for General Lee, we see him on here talking like a redneck all the time, dont we??

How did you get that link to pop up in the middle of the thread like that?

That's cool.
