Balancing Scale

Post by rogueturtle »

heya- im looking into getting a digital scale to balance my rods- pistons and wondered what the max weight i will need? How much does a piston or rod weigh? Should i go down to .1 grams? does anyone have any recommendations for scales/companies etc? I checked out exactadigital but the heavier(5000 gram scales that are accurate to .1grams are $250+....ouch.

My pistons were about 590.4 grams if that helps. Done on a triple beam.

I have seen some awesome lab equipment go on ebay for cheap, might want to check there.
