convert rails

Just installed new convert rails in my 78 super. When jacking up by the rails i noticed that the door gap at the top opens up about 5mm. Gaps go back to normal when the car is set back on the ground. Is this normal?When i jack the car up by the frame head or frame horns there is no increase in gap. I never paid attention before so i dont no if it did it before the new rails where installed.

I know this is an old topic, but here it goes.

Do you have any support between the B-pillars as on this original vert?

As you can see here there is also a triangle in both doorpillars.
There is usually some flexing in the body though.
