Jetting Info for a Zenith NDIX on Single Port

I have a 1600 single port with a very small cam (Scat c25 I believe). Anyway, I have a Zenith NDIX carburator on the engine and it performs pretty well. But, I believe that the NDIX was setup for dual port and thus is jetted a little rich for a single port. I was hoping to find some jetting guidelines for a 1600 single port with one of these carbs on it. Also, I was curious if anybody knows where I can get jets for this carburator.

The Zenith is a legend carb that is hallowed by many (especially us old school off-roaders) The jets are very hard to find. But near me there is a guy that can drill and configure the jets to the size you want or need. He does it for like $10.. I would need more information to figure what you need to jet it towards. Last summer we converted jets that ran down on the Baja on a 2110 dual port to go to the top of Pike Peak (14,110') ....

For very little $ and some conversation I can get your jets right. Be prewarned parts for this awesome carb do not come from off the shelf anymore.

I would be happy to help dial in your carb but it will not be a quick fix process. More later, RW

Thank you very much. Well, I will try to give you as much information as I can. The motor was built by one of my friends about 15 years ago. So, I am sort of guessing on whats in there unfortunitly. But, I would imagine it's a 1600 single port with stock compression probably 7.5:1. I am running a stock muffler on it with large tips (So, it doesnt flow as bad as a bone stock muffler). The motor is in my moms car. So, I try to leave it more/less stock looking. But, I was having issues with the stock carburator (30pict brazil) getting pretty bad gas milage. So, I bought this NDIX with individual runner manifold at a bug show and rebuilt the carburator (with a NOS 356 rebuild kit). The carburator works good except the idle mixtures don't respond very well (It's a little on the rich side). I will need to look at the vents but I believe they are 24 (It's a real empi configured 32 NDIX). I will try to check and see what size jets are in there.. I can't remember anymore. But, what I was looking for more/less is the original empi jetting specs for this carb on a bone stock 1600 single port. Anyway, I appreciate the help and I will try to email you the jet/vent sizes in the next few days (have to look).
