Pulley Woodrof Key

Does anyone know what the size of the woodruf key for the alternator pulley. I lost mine and want to know if i can pick one up at a hardware store or if I need go to a bug house specifically.

i lost mine to, i think CB performance or aircooled.net has them. very cheap to.
I couldent find anything the right size at my local hardware store.

VW P/N N 12705.1
It's metric-dimensioned, so you may have a hard time finding one in a hardware store. CIP1 says it's 5x5mm, I haven't verified it but I think 3x5mm is more like it.

When you do find them buy TONS of them . I keep a few in my wallet, and ashtray.
They CAN be hard to find

Same with Dellorto wing nuts, keep um in yer wallet

I was just by the local bug house. Picked up 3. A dollar a piece though.
