H2O rims on an aircooled

Post by VW911 »

Anyone out ther have some pics of your beetle with 17" stock VW, Audi rims?

I just bought some 2002 GTI 17" to go on my 73 super

Who's selling (companies) 5x100 drums and rotors? I have seen the blank ones but I want them pre-drilled

How could I forget them thanks. Do you know of anyone using H2O wheels on a bug w/ standard fenders? The rims came with 225/45/17's

Yeah I've heard good stuff about Topline.

I don't hate. I correct and educate the intellectually infirm.

I'v got Honda wheels under my stock fenders, with little issues if your wheels have about an offset of about 40 thesy should work with the right suspension parts from topline.

Towdman, tell me what tires sizes you are running, and what suspension parts you are running from topline.

I currently have the Topline adjustible struts w/ Empi springs on my 73. Are you running Maxx struts or the taperred sport springs?

Yes, steve it's me I'm back :)

I have the Maxx struts up front along with one of their sway bars, the front tires are 205/40 17 and the rears are 235/40 17 but should 235/45 17

Definitely give Topline a call. Great customer service. Just broke one of thier swaybars (he said its the first time that has ever happened) and said he'd replace it for free.

I second that Chris. Topline is great. Their disc brakes are awsome.

Water wheels on my 68.....

Post by jasonH »

I'm rolling 16" 2003 Jetta VR6 wheels and tires. I got the drilled drums with studs from Topline. I had to use wheel spacers in the back to clear the castle nut. They are H&R. I also had to buy open ended bolts from Kragen. Don't buy the closed ones they may offer at topline. I had to grind down the studs on the front end 'cuz the ones they used were too long. I've been rolling on stock fenders for over a year...... turning radius sucks and the tires grab the outers of the front fenders @ high speed bumps in the road... not too safe. I'm going to outfit the front end with a narrowed front beam to tuck the wheels in a bit more. This should be enough clearance, Clarance. I haven't seen another single ride out here in the SoCal sporting H2O wagen wheels. Good luck keepin' it real.
