urgent help needed, porsche teledial problem.

Where to start! first off, 73 beetle, stock length puma beam empi 8 spokes, then fitted cb 2 and a half" dropped spindles and the new combo left me with wheels poking out. So i thought get some rims with a higher et to sit the rim further in so i purchased a set off 6x15" teledials et 53. with the neccasary discs and adaptors, problem solved.... Course not, now the inside of the rim sits over the bottom of the swing arm and completely fouls the inside, from what i can tell is the new spindles pull the wheel up towards the bottom of the swing arm and with extra width is causing them too foul, i'd heard of rims scuffing inside wings and problems of wheels sticking out past the wings but never this, i've seen heaps of bugs on teledials or even other alloys that are 15x6/7"" size. I'm considering putting the old spindles back on and at least fitting my new porsche rims but am now concerned there going to be set too far in and rub on the inside, any help please, i have to get the car back on the road by tommorow and am pretty screwed right now
