my new sandrail with 1600 subaru?

I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE CHARACTERISTICS ARE OF THE SUBARU ENGINE ARE BUT I DO KNOW THAT CHRYSLER 2.2'S WERE EQUIPED WITH GARRET T03'S
THE 2.5'S HAD MITSUBISHI T04'S. IF YOU CAN FIND A COMPRESSOR MAP THAT WILL TELL YOU IF IT'S RIGHT FOR YOUR ENGINE.

The t03 used on chrysler 2.2 engines had lots of lag, lag of the 1980's that turbos got a bad rep from. This is a very popular turbo and comes in many different trim and a/r ratios, but seeing as how much lag it had on a 2.2, your 1600 would have a hard time spooling it up. The chrysler 2.5s' mitsu to4 was implemented to rid these engines of lag, so it is smaller, therefore better for your engine size. The first generation talon/laser/eclipse use this turbo also. If I were you, I would use a turbo from a second generation talon/eclipse. It is a garrett t25, a little undersized for the 2.0l mitsu engine but nicely matched to your engine. Hope this help!

If you are ok with ebay, you will find a few for sale there, as almsot all those guys replace them with a larger turbo. Check it out.

if you do use the the turbo from a mitsu. and longevity is a factor make sure it is a garret turbo they are rebuildable the mitsu. turbos are not
