i was wondering if any of you would want to work out a deal. trade my 48ida's for a turbo kit. adding money on my side to even things out wouldnt be a problem. i am extremely interested in doing this, so if any one is interested please let me know. thanks. what i am looking for is a side draft or holley carb, with a waste gate to control boost. and all the other basics to have a quality kit.

I ran low 12.16 in the 1/4 with the 1776cc @ 15 lbs boost and low 11.37 @ 30 lbs boost with the 1835cc. It gets even better, I ran 11.93 on chevron supreme pump fuel at 13 lbs. boost with a 1915cc. The car weighed 1390 lbs. I shifted at 5500 rpm with stock, no porting or polishing, dual port heads and stock end castings. It just plain works with a small motor.

I have the complete Turbo system for sale for $1200 US. Dellorto 45mm sidedraft carb, Rajay FB-40 Turbo, Kawell turbo exhaust and intake, Holley fuel pump and boost sensitive regulator, CB Perf. A/F gauge and sender, fuel pressure gauge, boost gauge, carb to turbo adaptor, Rajay wastegate. I also have many other pieces for sale, as I am moving up to a larger motor combination.

Engine details go with sale!!!!

Is your application for street or drag racing use? What are your engine specs?
You don't want a system that is over or under rated. Big is not always better with turbos, but it sounds good. Just like having the 48's. Just saying 48 webers people think power!! I myself have learned from experience. I bought a De Coppen header system (if you remember these guys from the 80's)with Rajay EF-80 turbo, other components include 48 DCOE sidedraft (theirs that number again) roto-master waste gate.
I bought it used in 1993 for a good price, but my knowledge for turbos and turbo application us very little. Image My motor is only a 1915cc (street driven) with good hi-po parts, but with that EF-80 housing .8 A/R compressor housing I had bad turbo lag. Image I got the car together and running in 1999 and till this day I am trying to find a smaller turbo or a smaller compressor housing since rajay is not around anymore. The problem also lies with flange set up, because the TO-3 or T-3 will be perfect but flange configuration is different. This guy who has his set up for sell sounds like a bargin, and it sound like something I need. But I think I will build a bigger motor to resolve my problem. Image
Don't let the same thing happen to you.
Good luck on your search and happy hunting!

Joe, get ahold of Turbonetics. They carry all Rajay parts. You can get anything you need from them concerning Rayjay's. If you have any problems concerning this E-mail me as I have an account with Turbonetics and can get anything you need. The other place you may want to try is TG Fab in Jacksonville, FL. www.tgfab.com Tracy Grimm has extencive knowledge and parts of the Rayjay line. It was good talking to you @ Kelly Park this year Joe.

sorry for not responding, my application would be for a street use and on a 1776 cc, 42x37 eliminators worked and 7 compression. but i am tinkering of using a liquid intercooler and putting water jackets on the heads to hel cooling and increase boost. i am going fo as much boost or power as possible when i want to use it, low boost for drining around. thanks for any help

Hey guys, this is what I have:

Rajay F-60 - 3 bolt flange, exhaust wheel damaged, still works great
Rajay F-80 - 4 bolt flange, rebuilt
Rajay EE-80 - 4 bolt flange, used but in excellent shape
Garrett T04B35 - 4 bolt flange, used in good condition
1 1/2" custom 3 - bolt flange turbo header, won't work with tin or generator
1 1/2" chrome turbo header, 4 bolt flange, used, dune buggy style
1 5/8" turbo header, 4 bolt flange, new, dune buggy style
Rajay wastegate, used
Deltagate wastegate, new
40mm Dellorto sidedrafts, used
45mm Weber sidedraft, used
Two sidedrafts to 4 barrel adapter, really neat
2" turbo 'T' manifold, short inlet and high heat coated
4 barrel carb to intake adaptor with engine braces
Holley carbs, 650 & 750 used, should rebuild, throttle shafts are good

I think that's all of it. If you don't see what you need in the list, just ask. Thanks for your interest!!!
