ok people can any of you point me in the right direction of a part suplier in the UK for the D-Jettronic trigger contacts part No 311 905 301 preferably with a web site or local to birmingham UK...thanks

If you have any local specialty Bug shops, you may be able to order them there. The trigger points were a Type III part that was used in the 914. (The 311 part number is a giveaway, there.)

You might even be able to source them at your local VW dealer...
