Umm ... yeah maybe, if there ever WAS a Porsche 959 Spyder race car; no such animal that I'm aware of.

It is what they call a "Kit Car". Lots of rare "animals" in the kit car kingdom.

Pretty cool idea for a kit car. Unique. I like it. Needs more power though.

This line struck me kinda funny: Four speed with reverse lever.

rep·li·ca: A copy or reproduction. Copy that is not the original; something that has been copied.

Since no such beast as a Porsche 959 Spyder ever existed (race car or otherwise), this car is actually a repiica of NOTHING; just someone's sad interpretation of a nonexistant car. A POS kit car ... nothing more.

Good luck trying to get the "rare" car licensed at the local DMV with a VIN# like that! If someone tried to register a car with VIN like that in Hawaii, odds are it would be confiscated by the DMV. No manufacturer has a number like that.

On further reading it states it is registered in NY as a 1990. A 1990 what? I guess in NY they are not as stringent on the NHTSA an Federal laws pertaining to vehicle construction and registration. Caveat Emptor.
