RAT 90.5 pistons

Post by Class 11 streeter »

What are the RAT 90.5 pistons/barrels intended application? With pricing comparable to 96 pistons at the type 4 store I am trying to figure if the 90.5's would be ok for a budget motor (1.7 core), or if I should do the mods to go with the larger 96's.
My application is a street going beetle, nothing fancy or fast.
So you think your project is taking forever eh? Well you've got nothing on me.....

These were cataloged for the 2016 Turbo kit and also the Super 2 Liter.. They work well with a stock 1.7 cylinder bored to 90.5mm.

Thanks Jake........like I said nothing fancy or fast, I just want to get a 1.7 core I have laying around freshened up and running w/o going $big$.
Induction will be Kadrons adapted to early T4 bay bus intakes so I figure those pistons will get me fresh honed cyl walls and a decent compression ratio.
