lifters

Post by sgeorgejr »

Jake,

Do the lifters you sell meet the requirements from webcam to be covered under warranty?

No... Web will only cover lifters and cams that THEY sell as a unit.

On the last engine I built about 3 months ago, Web Cam was out of "their lifters". They told me to get lifters from FAT. When I did, I got Scat Lube-a-lobes. . . No problems so far coupled to a Web #73 in a 2.0L.

web has expressed interest in buying lifters from me. I am reserved to do this because I received zero assistance (monetary/discounts) when I was spending thousands of dollars perfecting the lifters.

I also promised those that helped me figure the lifter issues out that I would not sell these to any other distributor...

Plus, I don't think that we could keep up with that much demand.

I think a lot of us got the impression that NO vendors helped out with the testing expenses. If some did, can this info be released so we know who the "good guys" are?

LN Engineering helps with money and with test procedures.

No other vendor helped, most would not even give me a discount.

The TIV following coughed up the final 5K bucks to finish the test work when we opened "The lifter fund"..... I spent 12K of my own and still had no good results!
