stage B transaxle...

Jake,

Will your stage "B" transaxles fit into a '68 912 with a type IV engine with no modifications(just bolt in)? I realize that a 914 transaxle innards would do the trick as well, but those kind of parts are pretty hard to come by in central Florida. Plus, I'd rather just bolt a new transaxle in and drive down the road... Also, have you guys finished the air conditioning compressor mod for the DTM. It was a coming soon feature mentioned in an information webpage, but no info since then...

Chris, ALL our transaxles are made for Type 1 applications, not 912 or other Porsche applications.

The transaxle you have already is an excellent choice for a TIV conversion, just swap a couple of gears from a 914 gearbox for higher ratios and you are done!

I'll do just that. How about the AC Compressor mount for the DTM kit? Have you finished it yet? I saw a coming soon note on your site somewhere with a photo of a prototype that looked pretty good. It was mounted to the upper left side and had a three point pully system.

yes it has been finished for a while now.. They are available from Ed at Gilmore Enterprises he also has the rest of the A/C system to go with it.
