Do the new generation heads have the 914 2.0 spark plug location?

Edit: I added to the title in case more people were wondering the same thing....

Yes, All but one of the new combos have relocated plugs

Forgive me....I think I have asked this also...but I don't remember getting an answer. Will you be making any for 1.7L with a 90mm bore? Ray

Presently there are no plans for a 90mm bore. we just don't use it enough to justify the effort.

we do have one ported version for the 90mm bore size, for the Super 2 liter combos we work with..

Send your cyls to Rimco or the like, and they can *powersleeve* them
to fit a 94 register......

The thing is...I don't really want 94 pistons. I have brand new domed 90's....with an "augmented" dome. These protrude into the 1.7 chamber another .070". It allowed me to then surface the the barrel seats on the case (while also setting them bores perfectly parrallel to the case). I end up with a deck of .032" and a compression of about 8.75:1.
This will run very very well....when I finally order one of Jakes cams. My bet is that with the changes to the injection that I have made...I can't beat the performance of the same engine with flat top 94's.
I already have really nice 1.7 heads...but....

Going to the 94's would allow me to use Jakes heads......but would also change all of the combo. Maybe on the next engine. I have a couple more sets of really nice 90mm cylinders. Ray

Ray, we may be able to set you up with a head similar to the Super 2 Liter, which is also based on a 1.7 NEW casting...It would feature a relocated plug and some cleaned up ports.... Couple the relocated plug with the domed 1.7 pistion and you'd have a super combo with the right cam (9550)
