Hoosier Slicks --- Available

Post by MNAirHead »

I just picked up a set (4) of rims from an SCCA guy.

The rims have Hoosier low profile slicks on them. I believe something like 15x10

If someone is interested in them, I have no use for the rubber.

Holds air... I'm not qualified to give an opinion on the tire condition.

What size are the rims they are coming off of? What kind of sidewall markings can you find? Can you post pics?

I was thinking it would be quicker for you to get a taker if you elaborated on the details first.

I totally understand... Unfortunately I'm so green on street racing that I do not know if slicks get re-used.

Used 'till wore out! There should be small holes in the "tread" if no grooves, that will tell you how much rubber is left. How wide are the Ansens?

The holes are deep (1/4-3/8)... the low profiles make the tires very flat. The bearing surface is probably about 12"... my estimate are that the rims are 15x10s.

That's way too wide for me. I can't use them. One other thing that others might want to know is if they are A compound or R compound.
