Note that dual springs require the spring bosses to be cut for installation.
Does type1springs work if you machine the head? Are they the correct installed height?

What are the installed height on a type4 spring?!?

Sorry for hi-jacking the thread

Ok, the shopping list is about complete.

BTW, what would be a safe rev. limit for this combo with all the previously mentioned proper stuff installed? (solid spacers, swivel feet, dual springs, chrome moly retainers, proper fitting retainers (ground), chrome moly pushrods).

The only thing left is to take a height measurement, and see if any kind of sump can be added for the oil pickup. Otherwise, I need an Accusump from my previous experience with this g-machine... Though I have seen mention of running an extra quart in the sump... :?:

with duals set up out of the box, solid spacers, better retainers, 911 adjusters and lightweight pushrods it should take 7K no problem..
But that combo is done making power at 5,500....

Thanks Jake,

I'll have some height measurements done this weekend to figure out the engine height, and then the order happens. It's good to be home for a bit!
