STF Outage - 7/21-7/22

We had a software failure of some kind late Friday afternoon. I worked on it Friday night, but finally gave up, not being able to fix it. I called my tech boys on Saturday morning (and woke them up - weekends are always a bad time) and got them looking at it and I guess they got us back to running last night after 9pm sometime. I believe the culprit was a corrupted file. Don't know why.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused the members.

Any way to reccover deleted posts?

Unfortunately, no. I learned this morning that we had to do a full restore from the 7/21 (3am) archive. Therefore all posts made after about 3am and before we went off the air are lost. Sorry.

I know the boys worked hard to try and correct the problem file, but no joy. The restore was only done as a last resort.

I hate stuff like this, but from time to time it's probably gonna happen. To those who are inconvenienced, I sincerely apologize. I appreciate the loyalty of regular board members, through thick and THIN.
