thanks, would it be worth buying to use on a 1600cc or 1641cc or would i be better off with the stock one? my motor has the chrome aftermarket shroud on it, an i dont like it.

You will go bigger on motor someday, the DTM will easily handle that fine.
Most chrome aftermarket shrouds are not built to the quality standard the OEM shroud is but it's getting harder to find a complete unmoltested VW shroud with all the parts, the DTM will have everything you need in one box.
So you think your project is taking forever eh? Well you've got nothing on me.....

bigger...me? nah, going turbo...im cheating ok..well later on eventually.
Jake, What's up with the "velocity stack" looking bell on the rear of the fan? Does it really improve the air flow or is it basically a cosmetic item? I would believe it would help to straighten/increase airflow. Does it? Seahag
If it was straight, you would have turbulent flow interfering with the "clean" flow. With the "velocity stack" if there is turbulent flow it should be around the stack edge, so you should have more "clean" air flow as a result.
