57 motor and trans

HELLO!! I have a 1957 Oval that I want to use a later model motor and trans. I recently
pulled the motor out but the trans is still in so I can move the car around. The motor still turns and so does the rod that sticks out of the trans. I'm not sure if it runs but
they seem to be in good condition. I would like to sell them both as a set since they are the same ones that came with the car back
in 57. The question is, I dont know a good asking price for them. I would even trade for
a later setup if it would be worth it. If anyone can help me out with some info or is interested in them, leave me a message.
